I have. I have tried to get all the files for it but there is one you have to be downloading at 5am from ukts

I have downloaded and installed the .zip route file into the directory structure of MSTS, but i must be missing something since I cannot see the route in the list of known routes. Can someone please help me.

try making a simple activity.
there are no activities in the basic route.
alternately download the activities at the same website.

Ian, having downloaded the zip file form the site, is this the ONLY file I need to at least use the route?

you will get the route up with an activity, but you need the magnetic platforms from uktrainsim or else you will get an error at each station.

the activities i downloaded for newcastle wont unpack. the perform some error

download tsunpackfix which fixes one of the many bugs in the software.
without running this file you will never be able to unpack apk files
