The AusRail 2003 Convention will be held on November 17 - 19 at the Sydney Convention Center at Darling Harbour. If you are also thinking of going, you can register for a free pass @ http://www.ausrail.com/visitor.html Although entry is free, this excludes entry to dinners and the gala ball held on the final night.

This is for anyone who was interested in going, it will be interesting to see what some Rail Manufacturers attending the conference have instore for the future of Rail in Australia. In particular I will be interested in United Goninan, EDI Rail and the Alstom stands.

Bit hard for me to get there but that's not for lack of interest. Will there be a full report on their web site after?

I went to the last one in Sydney in 1999. Didn't get to any of the plenary sessions but I did have a look around the trade show. It's worth a couple of hours if you have the time.

Cheers

I seem to remember previous years it was quite expensive so I didn't go even though it was in Melb. Have they changed policy or is my memory faulty?

It's expensive to go to the conference, but you can go to the trade show for free.

Cheers
