Hey all,

Does anyone know of any activity on the Main Northern Line north of Werris Creek?

There is a fertilizer shed at Dumaresq (20km(?) north of Armidale) which used to be witness to almost weekly visits by trains, but this has stopped completely in the last 18 months or so.

I heard a train horn about three weeks ago (I couldn't leave short cover to investigate!!), but the line out of Armidale still appears to be wired off about 2kms north of Armidale station (temporary fence for cattle grazing along the line).

Train watching is getting a little boring going out eh Dangar's Falls Road at 6.12pm every night...

Later

Wesley
