At the moment my favourite station would have to be Southern Cross in Melbourne with all of the diesel loco hauled trains coming and going from all those places across regional Victoria. Just the Atmosphere of it.

I also like like Roma Street in Brisbane with the sunny and airy feel to it.

I like Central and Roma St, but my favourite would have to be Moss Vale. Just the atmosphere of it, seing how so little of the building has drasticlally changed since the 1960s.

I think Roma St can legitmately lay claim to being one of the great railway stations of the world. Anyone who has been there and many who haven't know exactly what I'm talking.

Graceville is nice little station. It looks like something from a movie about the moonlanding.

Hi All,

Mine would be Central in Sydney, but love Newcastle as well. I'd love to own and live in an old country railway station. In Queensland I've only ever mostly been to Roma St so that one is a shoe in. In Melbourne I'd have 4 in Spencer St, Flinders St, Richmond & Victoria Park. The most unusual thing that I like in Melbourne is the tram/railway junctions where trams cross on the same level as trains.

Mine would be Korumburra.
It has a big, heritage style building, but not too big.
And also has a railway yard.

I really want to visit Korumburra station....

Mine is Werris Creek Railway Station.
A large station set in the middle of the country, and the gate way to the classic and good old North West Line Very Happy

Hmm, Geelong and Ballarat are up there, I love those "shed" stations. I love the loop too, specifically Melbourne Central.

It's a same that there aren't more of them. The 1872 Sydney station was of the same sort of style (before Sydney Central was built).

Southern Cross Station, soo many trains going into and out of the station with a large range of variety. Also because that is V/Line's central hub. Razz
