GM22 is at the WCR Ballarat East depot. Some parts for it are at the GNR Bendigo depot Smile

Thanks for the info. I had heard a couple of things such as that it was going to be repainted, and I was curious as to what colours it was going to adopt.

Mr. Anderson... surprised to see me?

It was X53-B80 again on the up last night. The X didn't sound very healthy. There were great clouds of dust being blown out from under the No.2 end by what looked and sounded like an air leak. It also seemed to brake quite early coming into Queanbeyan so I'm wondering if the two were related?

The train also stopped (or stalled?) just out of the Molonglo Gorge and sat there for a while. But everything seemed to be okay after that. Quite impressive working up the hill from a standing start.

Cheers

Due to a faulty circuit breaker the sands were working constantly. the dust was from the de-sanding blowers on the back of the engine, hence the dust.

Normally leaves Canberra about 1730, after SP24 arrives at Queanbeyan.

According to the current WTT, the timings are Canberra 17.40, Queanbeyan 17.55 - 18.00, Bungendore 18.51 - 18.56, Tarago 19.35 - 19.40, Joppa Jcn 20.12 - 20.17, Goulburn 20.24, etc. But it usually departs as soon as SP24 has cleared the section ahead.
