Does anybody have any plans or other details for the Tulloch railcars that were in service between 1962 & 1965?

If so I would love to get a copy. Wink

Thanks

Peter

Have you checked out the latest Australian Railway History magazine. There is a article on the railcars that may be of some use. Some great pics too.

Have you tried the Railway Resource Centre? I can't remember whether the railcar plans were among the drawings extracted from Tullochs' drawing office just before the works were demolished.

That is true the April edition of Railway History published by the ARHS NSW has info's about the Railcars. Only $7.20 from ARHS Central Bookshop.

I am a volunteer at the bookshop and I know there are 3 books about the SMR (includes the railmotors) and a DVD.

Locoshed: So you are thinking of modeling a SMR. Nice choice. Because My model is based on the SMR. (N scale).

Hi Syd2642,
Yep I want to do it but in HO. I would love to see shots of your N scale version. I have been doing research into some of the areas of the line I am considering.

Another place they may have it would be the archives at the RVRM. I think they have lots of this type of SMR stuff. Email Jeff Mullier via the museum.

Regards Brad
