"Broadband" is an umbrella term for anything that isn't dial-up or ISDN, so yes ![]()
Besides, the amount of cable internet subscribers in Australia is pathetic in comparison to ADSL.

It is not so much people accepting it, it is it being avaliable to the people, 95% of the NT has dial up, 30% of the Melbourne Suburban area can only get dial up, 35% of the Sydney Suburban area can only get dial up, 75% of Townsville can only get dial up.

I'd rather see them gone - As far as I'm concerned they serve no useful purpose other than take up space. If you want to advertise do it using normal characters.
Perhaps we could have a user option to turn them off for those of use that would rather use screen space better.

I don't mean to butt in, but is this still in use for general images? I still have a 17" which I usually run in 1152x864. While signature pics are usually small anyway, it's those 2048x1536, 479kb JPEG files which are the nasty ones. Not saying anything about anyone who might decide to post a BMP file (Firefox displays nothing but still downloads the 3.5MB file!). If it has to be big, people should post a thumbnail of the image with a link, such as imageshack.us has.
One other slightly annoying thing on my mind, is quote pyramids. It's kind of dumb seeing someone quoting the post right above them, then another person, or ten, quoting each post above them with all of the quotes in cascading boxes; that includes quoting posts with large images. The quote option should only be used if the post is dead and buried (e.g. on the next page), and then edited for just the sentence of use - we don't need an encyclopedia!
Not To Mention Those People Who Still Type In This Particular Way Which Makes Me Read It Like A Grade 3 School Kid. ![]()
My paragraphs are long and boring, and I do have a tendency to throw everything into one paragraph, so I'm also not perfect!

hello , is it must to upload only train pictures in signature ?

Not necessarily. However, if you're posting from a Chinese ISP, with your sig consisting of a botched link to a US hosted search site about Australian education, then we might well ask why you've posted to a Rail Enthusiast website in the firstplace...

With my apologies - this is ok:

But this, isn't:
Choose your weapon of self destruction:

I consider myself suitably chastised! ![]()

chastised or positively educated ? Not a huge no no. But "dem are the rules and thanks to you and others who have altered their sig. in responce to friendly nudging ![]()

A bit of both I guess ;P
