Better still, sink $750,000 on a container fork and $40,000 a year on a driver, and containerise the cars. Container flats can be hired from anyone!
Happy Gunzelling and remember, "Go by rail!"

A mate was telling me last night that when he was in Alaska there was some place he couldn't get to by road - only the railway went there - and cars (motorcars & trucks) were driven onto a train of flats specifically designed for the purpose, then driven off forwards at the destination, where there were roads once more. Has anybody else ever heard of this?
Cheers, Rhino

Thanks ParkesHub. I've already had the holiday now (went to lower Eyre Peninsula instead), but out of interest, origin was Adelaide & destination was Melbourne.
Cheers, Rhino
