Hi all,
i have got my copy of the trainz 2004, and i can't get the thing to work. I have configured it so the configurations are identicle with UTC. Can someone please tell me where i went wrong? (BTW, i have 319 MB ram and the TNT2 graphic card that Auran reccommend.)

The Detonator drivers are the series of drivers that the nVidia TNT's and GeForce's use.

Go do Device Manager | Display Adaptors, then double click on your gfx card and go to the Driver tab. It will say something like "Driver Version: 30.2.3" or similar, depending on what version of Detonator drivers you have. The latest version is 52.16.

To get the latest version, go to http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp and follow the steps to select your driver.

well i've just downloaded the latest version of the file, but i'm not sure if it was the right one, as the gfx card's name has two names of the types of files at the site (RIVA and TNT2), which one was i ment to download (i downloaded the TNT2 file)?

sort of, it lets me into the program, but it won't load the sim part itself.

Chances are then that the TNT2's are too outdated to let it play. Smile
