okrahsa ghia at our request has finished the 0 degree points.
they are in xtracks3.5.
being 0 degrees the points are a short piece of straight track.
having a point node this piece of track will extend the distance between
2 sets of points.
if you place these every couple of miles it fools the software that there is a set of points even though from the cab or anywhere for that matter it appears and acts like a straight piece of track.
i have tested it with 100 vehicles 30 miles between the visible points.
it beats waiting for kuju to come out with a patch.
cheers
ian

yeh
the old node bug
the same thing happens in marias pass
the code in the software needs a set of points every few miles to reset the nodes thus vehicles bucking and uncoupling.
that is why we came up with the idea of a set of points which are invisible
ie they look like a straight piece of track.
okrahsa ghia has made them for us in the latest xtracks.
cheers
