Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone from any states on the east have heard anything about the transportation of the first 3 car EMU set for TransPerth from Queensland?

Im curious as to where and when it will be travelling and it's estimated arrival time/date into perth (I want to take the day off work to get pics of it arriving into Perth)

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Go get the latest edition of Track and Signal magazine (April/May/June) I think the editor of this magazine has changed direction with this issue, it is now very gunzel oriented magazine!

Not to mention is slightly cheaper...

Can't be too far away as the first 2 units are sitting in the Walkers siding at Maryborough West awaiting final fit out and testing. Externally all they seem to be missing is the front streamlining around the visibility lights.

Their path will be Maryborough West to Brisbane (Acacia Ridge) on transfer bogies, and then placed in the consist of a PN Freighter to Perth via Melbourne.

No idea on when the first one will leave though ...
