Anyone here see the segment on Private Rail Operators ?

My impression was the piece was aimed as a PN vs the rest.

It showed PN - with the Toll head interviewed,

It also had Linfox CEO & Mjja's FCL all talking about their entry/fears about PN.

They showed the Cargo Sprinter as well.

They touched on the FA sale to PN with Linfox sounding a little peeved about how PN got FA (even with/without gov approval at the moment)

Very interesting.

Why would Linfox be peeved? Perhaps he should have offered more money to buy the company. He would also have been up against:

QR
ARG

any others?

What is the likihood the sale will go through to PN anyhow?

CNNNN - "Mr. Howard, what do you think of our new ethanol flavoured lollypops?" Umm Mr. Howard? ..... Mr. Howard??????? ..........

he reackoned it was "only 5Million more" after the closing for tenders. Thought he was hard done by when PN got another chance. He said his company wanted to get into rail.

That's how it looked to me.

As will it go through, I think it will.
