I am seeking feedback on the line side guides, as the next major section of vicsig.

Added is the raw data for 3 lines, with a question, what else should be show?

Ie, type of trains, interesting features on the line, good photo spots, etc..

A few days ago I noticed the Alamein and Lilydale lines are up, good work. Perhaps you should indicate where a yard is along a line, and maybe even how many trains can stable there

Very Happy

Photo spots would be useful.

Perhaps some indication of the safeworking for each section on the line description? Just like the old WTTs used to say DL, ES, dagger symbol (Staff Station), etc for each safeworking point.

And possibly signal box/panel aidgrams at individual stations where you have them?

Cheers
David

Locations of point work, and which tracks each one can switch to.

Number of tracks.

Line speed limit?

Ok following the feedback so far:

Line infomation will also cover:
Safeworking, line speeds (number of tracks already shown), photo spots, what typs of working on the line, when to expect freight etc..

Now clicking on a station (as you can now) will bring up the station information, in this any signal box information (already covered on vicsig, will just be intergrated), diagrams, photos, yards, history, and the information which is already shown.

Great! That was just what I was going to do but never bothered to get around to it.

You realise that this section of Vicsig has a huge potential to become a very good source of information; it'll be great when it's "finished" (of course it's never finished but you know what I mean).
