Is anyone making any infanstructure/ rollingsock for MSTS 2 when it comes out and will there be a conversion program?

I don't know but when it comes out it will be hard to get your hands on ( for the first month anywhay)

I hear MSTS2 is coming out in October. and there is a way to convert MSTS1 items into MSTS2.

According to the Microsoft website it will be out in "Fall 2003". So thats in teh last few months of this year in the US. We can't be far behind though.

According to all reports you will be able to import rolling stock from MSTS1 into MSTS2. As for scenery, structures and buildings the new game screenshots appear to only show enhanced textures so I'm guessing that these will be able to be imported in as well. The trees look the same as 1, so I guess you can import the current tree models as well.

I'm told that routes maybe convertable but I don't really know. Route activities will not be able to be converted which can mean a new game engine (not a bad thing if it means better AE and RE)
Very Happy
I would only hope that as the new version does not have any Aussie routes Evil or Very Mad that all the work done by our Aussie route designers is not wasted and that we can convert into the new format.

It wouldn't be that bad because there are heaps of Asuuie Routes and what are the odds that they will anyway?
