The Xtrapolis runs the 8:37am at Camberwell to Blackburn/Ringwood service.
It has really good acceleration as well as no jolting like the Comeng and Hitachi sets.

They don't have any spare money to waste on changing liveries.

The Xtrapolis runs the 5:05 a.m. train from Ringwood, then a trip to Belgrave and back to the city, then the 8:23 a.m. train to Blackburn, extended express to Ringwood. In the afternoon it is used for driver training.
Connex have not taken over M>Train and are not managing it. The government appointed KPMG (IIRC) to manage the former National Express companies.

A down diesel movement (unsighted) passed Surrey Hills after 1.00 on
Tues.11.2.
An up movement passed at about 5.00 (time not recorded): a diesel
(class/owner not discernable) hauling a six car Xtrapolis (sighted). I
couldn't determine if the move included a van or not.

Nick, that post was imported from Aus.Rail so most likely Roderick won't see your message unless he's on these forums.
