Answer
·  What is the Downloads Module?

The downloads module, is a section of Railpage 2.0 that allows users to place files for download. Users can either; a) Link to a download on another site. b) Upload a file from their computer onto Railpage 2.0. Categories can be created so downloads can be sorted into an order where they should be able to be found easily.

·  How do I know "x" file isnt a virus?

We make every effort to check files in the database, but sometimes they slip through. As a general rule, dont open .exe, .pif, .com, .vbs or .scr files unless you're very sure about them. Also, give them a scan with your own virus scanner. Railpage can take no responsibility for any damage cause by anything served from Railpage, so be careful!

·  I have my own website, can I link to my submitted downloads from my website?

Of course! But please dont link directly to the file, instead link to the details page. In addition, you can even let users vote for your download from your website! Use the feedback link to ask us how!
