What is the posted speed restrictions for the Kwinana-Forrestfield rail line? Through Canning Vale, at least, Southbound trains appear to move a lot faster (looks like 70kmh) as opposed to northbound trains puttering along at 20-ish clicks.Cheers
South bound trains are rushing to get to their destination in time for loading or unloading and in a lot of cases the northbound train is being regulated in time & speed by the crew to ensure arrival at the depots is not too soon for the crew to be issued another job (like shed work or car cleaning) but suitably timed to still knock off early
Of course other traffic in the flow will also have an effect to some travel speeds.
