    Had a bit of look at the second one, using your "Grange" clue.  The Queensland Society of Model and Experimental Engineers (QSMEE) apparently had a layout at the Grange from 1968 to 1973, at one of it's members houses.  The member in question was Merv Olsson.  Ring a bell?
