It's named Cobblebank, because it's in a suburb named Cobblebank, which was created sometime last year, so the station name makes sense, no different then alot of other stations.
Now the suburbs name? I don't know, but I do feel like it's purely an estate name turned suburb, such as Botanic Ridge and Weir Views.
