    In March 1987, eight broad-gauge 930 'World' ALCos, over a fifth of the fleet of 37, head a freight away from Gillman Yard in Port Adelaide - plus one 500 class shunter on a transfer move. Under normal operating rules at that time, only the first 3 or 4 locos would be under power.
