Description

Ten 1300/DC Class locomotives were purchased by Morrison-Knudsen Australia. Eight would be rebuilt and used as a lease fleet in South Australia, as well as in Malaysia. The fleet passed into the hands of NREC when MKA collapsed. Whilst two were sold overseas, the remainder of the fleet was sold to Pacific National for use in Tasmania. They were later renumbered in the 2130 series, included here for completeness.
