A Queensland man died when he was hit by a train as he tried to
cross tracks in Sydney's west.
The 35-year-old was returning to his hotel yesterday about
5.30pm (AEST) after finishing work at Rosehill Gardens
Police believe he was talking on his mobile phone as he walked
across the tracks using the pedestrian crossing at Rosehill
The train driver told police he tried to alert the man and used
the emergency brakes.
The man was treated for serious head injuries at the scene but
