AETA Convention Adelaide:

The Tri–Annual Convention of the AETA will be held in Adelaide, over this weekend, which is a holiday weekend in the majority of Australian States, in celebration of the Queen’s Birthday.
The convention will include:
Inspection of the Glenelg tramway, which has been upgraded to light rail standards and is being extended from Victoria Square to Adelaide Railway, with further extensions under consideration..
There will be a visit to the Glengowrie Tram Depot.
There will be escorted trips of not only Adelaide’s suburban broad-gauged, heavy rail system but also of the O-Bahn bus system.
Arrangements have been made for a visit to the operating St. Kilda Tramway Museum.
