A cargo train has derailed after crashing into a car at a rail crossing south of Perth. The accident which took place at Bibra Lake, was the result of a vehicle colliding with another vehicle from behind which pushed that car into the path of the freight train.
The driver of the car impacted by the freight train was able to escape before the train hit.
Both cars have now been cleared but the train remains at the level crossing.
