Rail Revival Alliance to meet with Louise Staley Member for Ripon
National Night Out, an evening of fun family-focused activities, will be held at Union Station on Tuesday, Aug. 6. The national community-building campaign is a “night to unite” and promotes police community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
The event will be held on the station’s South Patio from 5 to 8 p.m. Representatives from the Los Angeles Police Department, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, the Long Beach Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department will be available to meet and greet the public. Additional participants include the Los Angeles Public Library and Metro Safety Program.
You’ll also be able to get up close and personal with a selection of law enforcement and fire fighting equipment including black and white police cruisers, police and sheriff’s department motorcycles, a fire engine and more. Other activities include:
Go Metro to National Night Out by taking the Red, Purple, Gold or Silver Line directly to Union Station. The station is also served by many Metro and municipal buses. For additional information, visit unionstationla.com.
