Avanti West Coast has sent RailAdvent an update on the rebranding of their Pendolino and Voyager fleet of trains.
Following a refurbishment programme, the rebranding of the Voyager fleet is progressing well, with all but one, 221143, now sporting the Avanti West Coast branding.
221143 is due back in service in September and will sport the new branding.
Back in January, Avanti West Coast revealed the designs for the Voyager rebrand, with 221115 rolling out in its new look later that month.
The rebranding came after an £8m investment into the fleet of trains, with work taking place in East London. A timelapse of this work can be viewed here.
Good progress is being made on the branding application of the Pendolino fleet, with 390s No. 103, 104, 008, 112, 117, 119 (Pride), 123, 125, 127, 128, 130, 134, 136, 137, 141, 043, 044, 047, 148, 049, 153, 155, 156 all sporting full Avanti branding after receiving cab decals earlier this year.
390044 was recently named Royal Scot as part of the record-breaking attempt between London and Glasgow last week, which sadly, it missed out on the record by 21 seconds.
