Statement from Ixion Model Railways Ltd
I'm sure you've got plenty of Hornby tender locomotives that have the miniature plug and socket to supply power from the tender pick-ups and to the DCC decoder in the tender. They're really fiddly things to connect and there's always the worry of breaking or stretching the wires unecessarily while trying to push the small plug into the tiny socket!
Well, with this tool the whole process becomes easier. Available from your local Hornby stockist or direct from Hornby's customer services, this little item should definitely be added to your toolbox.
The tool grips the plug firmly by the lip just near to top, allowing it to be pushed easily but firmly into the socket without any damage.
