A TRUCK has rolled on a rail line near Dahlen, west of Horsham.
Emergency service crews were called to the crash about 5.10am this morning.
Sergeant Jason Bergen from Horsham police said a Kenworth prime mover carrying frozen chickens and travelling in an easterly direction left the Western Highway at Dahlen.
The truck came to rest on its side on a nearby rail line.
Sgt Bergen said the driver and only occupant of the prime mover suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to hospital by road ambulance for assessment.
A crane has arrived at the site in a bid to clear the wreckage from the line.
Sgt Bergen said it appeared a rail sleeper had been damaged in the crash.
He said he expected significant delays while the wreckage was removed and the rail line assessed.
The Western Highway remains open to traffic.
