I also saw an attractive young woman exiting Kooyong Station. I noticed that Kooyong still has the old metal picket-fences around its exits, where other stations have lost them with the exits being widened with the Myki equipment installation.
Caught 1977T from Mitcham (5th car) on an up express at 6:32 this evening. This is the same set as seen above (278M leading). The #1 end offside door was quite hard to open when I got off at Nunawading.
299M.....273M ran the 1755 down South Morang tonight. The train was delayed (reason unknown) at Clifton Hill, so the 1759 down Hurstbridge (a Xtrap) was routed via platform one. Both trains then departed simultaneously with a short parallel run - nice!
