One more time with Kevin?

  The Vinelander Minister for Railways

Location: Ballan, Victoria on the Ballarat Line
In view of the apparent rout the Labor party will receive at the September 14 poll, see todays Fairfax media for details, has concentrated the thoughts of many MP's on whether Julia will get them over the line...doubtful, or at this late stage with 96 days to go, can Kevin pull a proverbial rabbit out of the hat.

Fairly substantiated reports on ABC media tonight are pointing to a return to Kevin as a matter of urgency...stay tuned for further updates one way or the other.

Mike.

If you say anything that a couple of the socialist commies whom lerk around here might disagree with, they will turn the discussion into an argument to have the thread shut down.

They are all liars, cheats and incompetent mongrel bastards who are only in it for what they and their crooked mates can get out of it - every last one of them. Reg, blue or green makes no difference.

I didn't....however I wouldn't like to be Tony Abbott at present.

Kevin's rock star reception at Geelong this week will have the Abbott team somewhat perplexed.

There is no leader-apparent heading into this election.  The two major parties are both fronted by individuals many would choose not to have leading the nation.  The problem then is where does any other authoritative lead come from?  K-Rudd had his turn and has steadfastly maintained he will not make a return.  Some are gambling that Kattah will somehow make sense of something other than a cow paddock and lead the nation out of the poo-pat.  If Australia did not have mandatory voting the turnout to the election might be dramatically low. As it is we might see a spike in votes for the donkey rather than the ape or the orang-utan.

I wouldn't read too much into the rock star thing, because I think that has a lot to do with our narcissistic society.  I would assume a fair few of those people are the type that just want to get their photo taken with anyone of some notoriety-going by the stance and posing that was going on.

I think Tony Abbott would have to be sure contender to be the next PM.  I just hope people wake up to what the Greens are about and show them the door, they are nothing but dangerous radicals in my opinion.

When he was rolled by Juliar there was a whole string (most of caucus as I remember it) rolling up today that Kevin was a manic, crazy, sociopath.

No, Labor returning to KRudd will be a massive mistake and big free kick to the Liberals. The campaign for the Liberals against another Rudd led Labor government has already been written... By the very Labor politicians that will be queuing behind him as their saviour.

Every news bite, every interview, every statement of every Labor member that came out to speak out against Rudd as leader when they knifed him for Juliar has been saved. The Liberal Party could not get them to the TV as campaign ads quick enough.

Could you imagine it? The person we knifed for being a sociopathic, crazy, vindictive leader that we had to knife and replace with the worst PM in Australia's history needs to come back so that all will be fixed in the nation? - That will not fly in the electorate.

Aaron from Adelaide Uni... crazy things happen (i.e. Johnny with a triple bypass) Laughing

Julia steps aside for the party. tells all her supporters to back Kevin, they eat humble pie for the media... then focus on what Abbott is about. They may save a few seats.

Regardless Labor has lost this election and need to repeat Politics 101 and Media 101.

The question should be asked, why is a backbencher campaigning outside his own electorate, even his state? It doesn't seem normal to me, unless he is trying to maintain his profile for another run at the leadership.

I reckon it would have a lot to do with Krudd having an intense dislike for Juliar, after she stabbed him in the back the way she did.

What are you, 5 years old? Last time I checked it was still "Julia". There's no 'r' on the end.

Krudd

And I'm pretty sure his name is still Kevin Rudd. Looks like you left a few letters out.

Tony Abbott

What? No tedious and horrendously unoriginal play on Tony Abbot's name? Why not? You didn't spare Kevin or Julia. Not a fan of equality?

Are you on the Liberal Party's social media payroll, or have you just been duped by the likes of Allan Jones and the daily telegraph? Either way you're giving conservatives a bad name.

Nope. I'll just stop this now before the stupidity goes thermonuclear.

Something is brewing.  I can't image some of these long term politicians just sitting and waiting to be lead to the slaughter house.  Nope, The natives are restless and my money is now on a leadership change and a NEW poll date.
