NCE decoders

    Location: I think by now you should have figured it out
    Now, a while back I was given a NCE Z14SR decoder with a broken wire for free. I was wondering if it was worth the effort to re solder the wire on. From talking to other people I seemed to have receive a mixed reaction.

    What colour is the wire that is broken off? It may just be a "lamp" wire, so the decoder might still work as a basic speed controller and possibly one lamp. Depends which wire.

    It's a yellow wire, so I could chuck it in my E8 Very Happy

    Yellow is rear headlight. I've had the odd wire come off the NCE decoders, hold the wire on its pad with a quick touch of the soldering iron and its back on. Quick and easy fix.
