The style of the loading chute on the silo should be a help as there were not a huge number with that distinctive shape. Add to that the 44s which rule out the pioneer standard lines and it doesn't look like a wheat train anyway.

Yes it was the concentrate. IIRC it was taken around the turn round time & the Gulgong - Ulan line was opened during the initial stages of the lines opening only the coal trains were used solely on the line with the concentrates still coming via WCK when there was no path. It actually could have been taken late in 82 or 83.
