Am I correct in thinking that it will be possible to access the new Forth bridge by an easier curve from the Leith end than is currently the case?
Is the new bridge straight or curved?

By the looks the curve should be easier, but the bridge itself is straight.

To the best of my knowledge all bar one (Don R bridge) of TasRail's recent major bridge projects (inc Jordan R bridge) have also facilitated curvature improvements on bridge approaches.

Couple of weeks back I noticed a decent stack of concrete sleepers also at Antill Ponds.
Does it appear that the whole of the Campania-Rhyndaston section will have concrete sleepers installed?

Ok, thanks. So a 30+ km section which ought to make a significant improvement to the reliability of this part of the route.
A pity there isn't also some curve easing associated with this project to make an even greater change in the standard of the route.

There's also a massive stock pile of concrete sleepers at Dunorlan. Went through that way a few days ago and they were also doing drainage works.

Why would they reconnect it when Tasrail only goes as far as Burnie? Is there something we should know about?
to answer that question. the council has pulled up the track so they should be putting it back together.

Penguin Market to Wynyard Also have the Wynyard foreshore market at the Wynyard railway institute hall instead of it being a wash out..
This would save a lot of old people from having to drive in terrible conditions.

I dunno why that line isn't open they could be running a Sunday market train.I will tell you why the line isn't open: No freight traffic; poor track condition; Tasrail are not accredited or insured to use it other than care & maintenance.
I will tell you why there cannot be a Sunday market train; no insurance, no accredited operator, no access agreement, line closed (due to reasons noted above).
So now you know......

To put it another way, there would need to be a *lot* of tourists to make such a venture pay its way.

I do believe that I saw a gathering of concrete sleepers next to the line at Spreyton behind the Racecourse. They have only recently finished work in this area after they cleaned the ballast, they undertook large scale drainage work.

Yes, but sometimes Rogerville still gets used. Then obviously Lowdina is the next available location.
