    Any plans for 1210, for the Canberra 100 celebrations? I thought I heard something about recreating the first train into Canberra....

    Heard something about Easter Weekend in Canberra

    1210 will be undertaking trials beginning this weekend following major repairs. Assuming the trials are successful, she will be in traffic over Easter. There's nothing on the Canberra day weekend due to track work.

    If anything a special run would be held on the 25th May 2014, that date will be the centenary of rail services to the capital.

    Will be good to see 1210 out and about again, I hope the trials go well!

    The trials have been put back due to minor issues with the locomotive. They are likely to happen after Easter.

    Good to see 1210 in steam on saturday! I popped into queanbeyan to see the return of the bungendore sunday trip, and what did i see? Double headed 1210 and 3016! Brilliant....and me without a camera!

    A great weekend (Easter) provided by ARHS ACT it was fantastic to see 3016 and 1210 in steam and to marvel at the progress of 6029 slumbering away in the shed! Not for too long I hope! I tried to attach some photos with no success any help would be appreciated!

    Nothing really, but I would suggest Father's day weekend would be the most likely time for such an event. Provided, of course that both locomotives are in a serviceable condition and available for traffic.

    Yes, I believe so, however, I am not aware if it has had a hydrostatic test yet. It is hoped to be ready for the 9th of July (school holiday train to bungendore).

    I believe tonight (9/8/13) ABC's local 7:30 programme will be running a story about the Canberra museum and society...Hopefully there will be a web link to the story soon too...
