Just noticed that the Bullet Train for Australia Party ( http://bullettrainforaustralia.com.au/ ) has a candidate standing in the federal seat of Throsby (lower Illawarra, Southern Highlands.

Whilst elsewhere on these forums a number of contributors (including self) effectively said "nay" to such proposals, and the candidate is 11th of 11 candidates, I suppose we can only wish them all the best. Being blunt, my priorities for rail are elsewhere...

Only just and even then I'd have to think pretty hard whether I would even bother voting for them. Every elections we get some poly or a would-be poly coming out with some pipedream which most people know it'll never happen.
