If elected, Palmer United Party candidate Trevor Dance promised to push the State Government to act on the extension all the way to Whittlesea township.

I would say the same thing, but you still need to force (or at least encourage) the state government into building them.

Maybe, but this particular project would be one of the more simple ones to accomplish, since the rail reservation is largely extant.
