Attended the interview today. Surprisingly I was interviewed by only two H/R reps and after the initial get to know you and your motivation for applying, I was going to be asked 3-10 situational questions which I had to answer with examples preferably from jobs that I've had. Well.... I got asked 3 and I think I answered well enough to be in contention (gauging from their positive manner to my responses).
A bit about the company, they are not publicly listed and are owned privately by a bank in Bahrain. They claim to be focused on safety, family, multi-skilling and learning, and innovation through challenging the norm. So new employees are sought that fit into that culture and not so much for their technical ability (as this can be learned up to the employee's own ability).
So if you think you can demonstrate that you can fit into their culture you will be in with a good chance of getting employed by them when they next advertise.
Edit: No response yet, even though they flagged Sept 23 as being the day that an outcome should be known. Wish HR dpts would just let people know either way so candidates can move on.
