According to the news, for tomorrow (Sat 28 Sep 2013), the Greater Sydney area has a total fire ban.
It may or may not affect the steam loco 3642.

Unfortunately 3642 will not be able to run today because of the total fire ban in Sydney.   The Southern highlander train will operate diesel hauled.
Expect the Hurstville shuttles tomorrow and return trip to Thirlmere will be operating with 3642, as the weather tomorrow is less windy with lower temperatures forecast.
