Thought I would drop a bombshell on the Wuiske's, these wagons have been scheduled for a while, but I think Adam and Jade had forgotten about them.

I posted this on Facebook, as it turns out, the orders came straight in and I believe there may only be one left.

Here is something a bit unusual, a special Anniversary VAK/VGK QR's Hopper.

Yeah, I know it's a year late, better late than never.

Very limited run to clear out final existing kits, only 7 being produced, I will be buying one, I'm sure Adam will keep one, so only 5 (maybe) up for grabs.

You will have to talk to Adam regarding price and availability.

The model is displayed mounted on R-T-R Wuiske/Haskell KOJX trucks as that was all I had.

Did I mention that each one carries a different road number, the one shown being WM 21200, where WM is Wuiske Models, 2 for 2002 (start year of Wuiske Models), 12 (2012, 10th Anniversary year), 00 (number of the wagon), rest are 21201 to 21206.

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the delay in our activity since the Brisbane show, unfortunately we were unexpectedly delayed in Brisbane for a few days. We were initially expecting to be back home on Monday or Tuesday, we finally got home yesterday and only managed to unpack the stock from the trailer before it all caught up with us. But, we are now on board and we're getting straight back into the swing of things.

The newly released RTR OLO Tank Wagons have now been added to our catalog:

An Adam's Corner will be written up in the next day or so too (all going well).

I'll be looking after any requests made to us at the show today, so please bear with me as I get through them.

Just another note to say that OLO set 1 is running EXTREMELY LOW, you've already seen that QLX set 1 has sold out. If you're chasing OLO set 1 you'd best get in very quickly, there are only 10 sets left. We've said in the past that the OLOs will not be rerun, so this is the last opportunity.

Another sweet Lander car there Adam & Jade; however the Sunlander I rode on a couple years ago didn't have a MAL in the mix. It did have an MBL however, and I see it is coming soon, as per latest Adam's Corner Chapter.

Keep em coming!

Jade these appear to exactly what we need! I have walls 15 m long that are going to be much improved by nice Aussie scenes.

Can I ask if you would give some extra thought to your proposed new sheets?    As most of our model railways are always built with the focus on the track and what runs around it, I have searched without success for backdrops that suit a railway line Very Happy    Yeah trees and wheat fields and mountains in the distance Yankee pine forests abound.
But I see the back fences of houses Wood 3 rail paling fences with the sheds and rear entrances of houses. Outside dunnies and a Caravan or Semi parked up the side.
Small towns with a corner milk bar, a Shell Servo and a Country Pub. A street paralleling the line lined with neat little houses.  A cop shop, or a CFA Fire Station. Hardware store and a Supermarket.

Then trees and fields and 3 wire barbed wire fences, and every model railway has its goods yards. These yards can be surrounded by Industries attracted to the rail. As an example I have never seen a Fuel Depot and yet the pipes and walkways and overhead racks, multiple Tanks some upright cylinders others look more like our tank farms.  Further down is the Saleyard dock with the yards disappearing back into the drop. One thing the Yanks do well is their "prairie wheat silos", useless for our purposes, but typical Aussie Silos and trucking facilities would be really welcome....
Just thinking you know, but I will try to get 2 x 45cm sheets of the Country Scene after Christmas, At near $400 I have to think what Locomotive I will give up Very Happy
Cheers
Rod Young
