Noticed a P class and possibly an AB class there late last week, with another P class in Goomalling on the ballast and works train there in the yard. The P class in Avon is still there this morning (I think it is P2515 or P2505?), but the CBH loadout train was in the way so I didn't see much else of the Aurizon facility on the way past.

This places me in the middle of a paddock? What is the suburb? There is no "avon" suburb in Western Australia.

the bordering town is Northam. Avon yard is just out of town to the NW

Has anyone thought that CBH might expand there storage space down to where the yard now stands.
The Bulk heads above the cells are only a Temp system and are very easily moved. The old tin storage units are past their used by dates.
The current CBH has beened strangled by the current Avon yard.

P2515 is still there at the depot, but the DAZ has now gone (or is inside the depot itself), and there is a woodchip wagon attached to the P class instead.

As far as I am aware, the depot itself will remain in situ, with all wagons currently stowed there. It will no longer be a manned depot.
