Beyond Bulliac

    Hi,

    I was just having a look at a few youtube videos and discovered a video, shot by Ray Pilgrim showing Beyond Bulliac at a modelling convention during the 90s (1994). During the 90s, at a Bowral exhibition (miss that exhibition), this layout amazed me and has heavily influenced my modelling ever since. What happened to Beyond Bulliac? Is it still alive or has it sadly dissapeared?

    One or 2 modules are at the Taree model railway club the rest is in the great big hall in the sky from what ive been told.

    Ha,I forgot all about Justin's blog! I even replied to it! I think I may be going crazy ha ha. At least there is part of it remaining. Justin's weathered models and the layout are well matched.

    Another great layout that I have only ever seen in AMRM was Loch. I still pull that issue out for a little inspiration.

    Ha,I forgot all about Justin's blog! I even replied to it! I think I may be going crazy ha ha. At least there is part of it remaining. Justin's weathered models and the layout are well matched.

    Hi Linton

    Seperate modules are owned by the four members John, Greg, Terry, and Ray.

    Gregs module as mentioned is at the Taree Club and Johns 2 modules have been disposed of. Terry and Rays modules I dont know about.

    Truth be known; a little piece of Beyond Bulliac made its way across to Bowen Creek.
    Namely the tall tree on the creek bed edge, by the bridge. (Picture taken April 2009, during construction)

    There you go hey! Both Bowen Creek and Beyond Bulliac share something else in common other than being two very fine layouts.

    Truth be known; a little piece of Beyond Bulliac made its way across to Bowen Creek.
    Namely the tall tree on the creek bed edge, by the bridge. (Picture taken April 2009, during construction)

    Well...Almost. The tree itself wasn't on Bulliac but JB was the builder inconjunction with Ian and myself. It was a chance to learn John's technique. He also painted the vinyl one peice backdrop.

    Apparently the name was derived when Control was chatting to a crew about a mishap on the North Coast line and the drivers wanted to know where abouts was the mishap and Control replied somewhere 'Beyond Bulliac"
