GWA?you could also throw SCT into the mix as a legitimate candidate. El Zorro Mark 2? I doubt any of the rail access providers would give Ray Evans accreditation to operate on their lines after the mess he left behind after his last attempt at running a railway.

I should have been more specific with how I worded my question. If PN has stopped operating the sands train, does anyone know which specific operator has taken over the running of the train. Is it possible that with the amount of sand the plant requires atm that it isn't enough to justify running the train and that it is cheaper to truck the whole way from the mine to the processing plant and not just to Hopetoun to have it railed to Hamilton?
Why is this myth about costs always at the forefront? It is not cheaper running 20 trucks over 1 train.Have you done the sums? Do you have the dollar amounts for each mode? or are you assuming?
