A reminder this thread is about the AD60 from Bergs, not the kit - it has it's own thread
"dthead"

Perhaps the thread title could be changed to reflect that.

So, at the end of all that, we have...

An O Scale Kit N.S.W.G.R. AD60 Garratt offering @ $2599, which we've seen run at exhibition and via YouTube,

or

An O Scale RTR N.S.W.G.R. AD60 Garrett offering @ $5000-ish, with running tests pending.

So, if you're an O scale modeller with N.S.W.G.R. interests in large steam pieces, you should be well looked after, whether you be an avid locomotive kit builder, or a plonker.  I guess the easy decision is how you want you locomotives delivered, which is entirely the choice of the modeller, yeah?

The only real question I have left about the two different locomotives that have been discussed recently, is who decides to  call themselves figjam2?

If I was modelling NSWGR I would much prefer a Garratt hauling my trains. I don't think a Garrett would pull very much:

I am confident that Dan knows how to spell Garratt - he might have been quoting figjam2 who used Garrett in the first post of this new thread.

You could have also mentioned that the order form for the O Scale Kit states that it will also be available as a "partial factory build" at an estimated price of $6800.

[edit]

May I remind the supporters of "ModelOkits" Ad60 kit that there is a thread for that. This thread is for the Bergs version.

I'd not post here unless it is about that, or if you have information on it. Unlike the ModelOkits which the manufacturer is on Railpage, there is no official Bergs representitive here.

Thus let this thread die if there is not updates. No replies, no posts, no publicity for now.
