Looks like someone saw something on Facebook and copied it straight to here. I thought it might happen so I didn't give all the correct info out there to see if it happened by someone who didn't see the move. Yes the locos did leave. But there wasn't 7 or 8 wagons. There was actually 8 and a VAN

I'm not sure what the problem with that is? If the information is out in the community, why not put it on all outlets, not just Facebook group(s)?

My problem been. The way its posted is like he saw it. I have no problem with it been reported. But at least give credit like most others do. EG: Seen via a facebook group that this and that has happened.

True, a straight copy and paste of the information seems like it's the OP's sighting/information, when really it's not. I always like to put "heard from a friend/source elsewhere that..." before such information. Mostly in-case it's wrong

Portland yard is now completely empty of railway Rollingstock. There is a few vans and ex CFCLA grain containers at the yard.

SRHC's GM36 has been "hiding" in Portland due to a condemned wheel set (AFAIR), interesting to know if this has been rectified.
And as you can see from the photo above SRHC has done an excellent job with the upkeep of their premier Historic Exhibit

I know SRHC are a bit of an easy target, and just about everyone agrees they have got quite a bit wrong lately. That said though, the neglect of GM36 really came at the hand of El Zorro, It hasn't happened overnight, but overtime.

It came because SRHC forgot what it existed for, and decided to force out of most of its volunteers, cease running public tour trains, and concentrate on locomotive hire to the detriment of a lot of preserved, historic locomotives.

Does anyone know if all/or which locos were powering? The last I seen/heard was that GM 36 was missing a wheel set , TL 154's main gen was sitting on the ground beside it and TL 155 had been sitting on timbers minus it's wheel set for at least 6 months before El Zorro collapsed.

TL 152 and GM 36 were both powering. The SRHC carried out repairs to the GM a couple of months ago.
