Looking forward to jumping in the car and taking a run out there tomorrow.
I actually prefer this one over some of the city shows.

Was a good show, as usual I dare to say. from Z to G and plenty of narrow gauge models.

Bought a few things.  One layout that I have not seen sincde 1999 is a total black & white layout, everytjing was black, white or grey. includint eh attire of the operators, well done !

I annoyed many with some 3d printed locos from Shapeways, getting invaluable advice from Dan Pickard, Phil Badger and others.

That was an interesting one, I laughed to myself when I saw the camouflage Thomas, Annie & Clarabel.

The guy with the space rockets and shuttle looked like he'd turned up to the wrong show but interesting to look at.

Had a good day, the weather was actually quite pleasant for the most part.
Seemed to be a reasonable crowd, lots of families walking around.

Another cold Stawell weekend in the bag.  Despite the bitter cold, at least it wasn't pouring with rain all weekend like I think it did last year!  Good crowd through for the weekend, and probably spent more time chatting rather than modelling.  Perhaps the expectation of carving 4 feet of slate cliffs was a bit optimistic for one weekends work Smile.  Was good to catch a few faces (enjoyed the chat David, and the chance to check out the shapeways prints).  Nice to see some progress as well on some of the layouts that would have been seen before.  A model railway is probably never finished, and perhaps encouraging to be able to see the noticeable changes with modellers improving their creations...that part of the weekend I found really enjoyable and positive.

I drove from Wodonga to Bendigo and on to Stawell ariving about 10.00 on the Saturday. I think it ended up being near 1000km.
And it was worth every penny of it. Colin and the boys did a great job Smile
By far the best Exhibition city or Country that I attended this year. More a City style Exhibition, and better than some of them too.
