Hi all

Seen on the Seek website that Freightliner are looking for qualified casual drivers for the Sydney metro area and also North West NSW. They have stated on both ads that trainees applicants will not be excepted at this time.

They must be targetting specific groups of qualified train crews, as the ads mention that specific route knowledge is a pre-requisite for each set of positions. Prevents people without that route knowledge from having any real chance of getting selected for an interview.

They are also looking for casuals to be based at their Dubbo depot. What are they like to work for as they don't seem to advertise much for drivers!!

Even though the job ads are no longer on Seek, all three of them (Sydney, Dubbo and 'north west nsw') are still showing on their own employment portal at:

in case anyone wants to check the ads out. All three want people already with route quals for the nominated areas.
