** The rear power car suffered a failure just before departure and had to be replaced with HGM317

I suspect it's more to separate the Gold and Premium 'guests'. The previous consist meant Premium guests had to walk through the gold section to reach the Lounge and Dining cars.
As Premium is now being advertised as a "higher" level service to Gold, I think they have sort to separate the classes.
You're not going to like this Pressman, got word from a friend that 109 is off to Challora for a repaint. Could get the same livery as 25, 27 & 28 (PN livery but with IP logos in place of the PN logo & stars).
Surprised 74 wasn't first given that one is very faded under the cab windows (can't even see the loco number).
