Good plan.  On my last visit to Brisbane (4 years ago) I caught the train from the airport to Roma Street where we had some downtime to wait for the "Workers' Train" to Gympie North.  We went up to the Transit Centre hoping to find a meal.  The only thing on offer was KFC and the chicken pieces seemed like they'd been sitting there for a while as a result of low patronage.  So we decided against that and looked further afield.  The Transit Centre is sterile and unwelcoming.  Go for it, knock the thing over and start again.

About time!!! - that monstrosity is inefficient, butt ugly and a terrible way to welcome travelers to a magnificent city. Anything they do from here will be a marked improvement of the situation. I'd love to see them take the opportunity to incorporate the original Roma St station building into the revamp.
