    Left SCS on time and was seen at North Geelong at 08:18.  Should have well and truly arrived by now.

    A 66 sent to Warrnambool for locally  based driver training, as drivers based there are not rostered beyond Geelong these days,  so A 66 sent there for the familiarisation training,  rather than them sent to Melbourne.

    No, not happening.

    What you are probably thinking of is part of the announcement by the Liberals, that if they win the election there will be another locomotive (It will be an N class, nothing else) and car set converted to Standard Guage for Albury services. For this, the 5 S cars that were withdrawn 5 or so years ago will be returned to service as a backup set for the Albury line.

    No S class locomotives mentioned by anyone who knows what they are talking about.

    Now, back to the sightings.

    I really doubt there's an S class at the Dudley St. sidings. If it was S313 that's Steamrail's and there's plenty of better options for locos to be bought back into service. A70 for example. As for the SG, it'd be an N class.

    The 'S' mentioned would be the BS cars (215-219) that Vline have stored at Newport, and a news reporter just goes by what they're told. I doubt a regular reporter would know the difference between an A and an N apart from one looks a bit different to the other...

    Spotted a flat out T class leading a charter, on the RRL at West Footscray yesterday. Didn't catch the loco number.

    Yesterday at 10:35am, two unknown N classes came through Gisborne, Bendigo-bound with what looked like a PCJ van and 7 passenger cars.

    RL304 is currently being towed behind NR86-NR107 on 3PM6 about to pass Stawell in the next hour. (currently at Horsham)

    This is the first time I can remember an RL being towed by a PN service?
