There appears to be a large number of Austrains 442's for sale on eBay lately
A pending announcement, coincidence or merely a revolt away from 'toy train' standards?
I hope it's not just a makeover by the aforementioned if the tragedy of the 81 is anything to go by
Any news Auscision?
THE ENDLESS WAR
"The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous."
With thanks to George Orwell we can't help but notice that we are still here, eight years later and the same stuff is still going on. Some models have come out in that time though!!
Lets see what's been going on:
Any guesses what the unannounced 45 & 46 models might be?
I noticed that the candy 45's have not all sold out which contradicts the FB post - or did I misread? Good news if so.
Not so much a criticism - more an observation, Auscion's almost-sold-out call has become a little 'the boy who cried wolf'. In the past it was a reliable call however, definitely not the case with the 45's. I acted on the August advice which I interpreted as a stern warning and paid for half a dozen. They're pretty much still all available. Perhaps they up'd the production quantities?
Yes, perhaps they learned from the 422 fiasco. When so many missed out getting what they wanted and Auscision missed the sales.
Maybe they have a cut off date when they can no longer increase the numbers? Getting in a bit early, actually makes great sense. If they still can increase the numbers, they probably would.
If so, they have done well
What '422 fiasco'. Auscision announced on their blog almost a month before their arrival that at least five of the road numbers including the candy versions were almost sold out. Anyone who missed out only had them selves to blame.
'Some people' just post for the sake of posting, facts are immaterial it seems...
